Valege Dreams

When I went to Paris on my honeymoon, my main focus was to buy as much lingerie as I could afford. My first purchase was of course Agent Provocateur! My second was two fabulous pieces from a brand I stumbled across just down from l'arc de triomphe. As soon as I walked in, I was in love. This lingerie was the perfect match between durable day wear, but still totally sexy.  I don't know if you can tell but emerald green is my favourite colour!  Now the pair I've modelled below, I've had since the end of October and they're still in perfect condition. Like perfect. They have not lost their shape at all, and still support my chebs well! I know so far I've said every bra supports my Chebs well, but when I find a one that is perfect I say!  Since then, I've bought another pair at new year. (Backup) Quaker(n) in my boots!

So I'm wondering around Newcastle with my friends and we stumble across a vintage shop called 'retro'.  My friend lifts out a beautiful vintage nightie from the dress section and I instantly fall in love.  I bought it and here it is.    I absolutely had to have it! Look at the trim! Isn't it darling?!  The colour really compliments my skin tone and the beautiful floral detail on the chest area is so womanly and twee. Each little stitch with so much attention to detail. It feels lovely on, and would be lovely and cool in the summer months! I've been trying to research where it's from. The label states "Quaker Quality". I've rinsed google, and the only things I can find are the following:  - Quaker Lace- this company would make table cloths in the 50s/60s and are still in high demand today.  - The company stopped producing in 1987. - The company must have made lingerie and robes in the 50s/60s as eBay has a few little gems on their.  So from these f...
